hi,

 

i am on my 5th vegan pregnancy and i have very healthy babies and vegan kids!

i do take prenatal vitamins and iron supplements but eating a varied, healthy

diet will turn the babies out ok. if she is very health-food-y perhaps she could

add oils----- flax oil in cold foods like salads and smoothies and olive oils in

hot foods. that is what our family seems to require the most supplements in

since most of our foods are low in fat. we eat alot of walnuts and avacados too.

We love avocados as well. My daughter would turn green if we let her, as just

half of one is not enough for her :)
