Guest guest Posted March 10, 2008 Report Share Posted March 10, 2008 hi, i am on my 5th vegan pregnancy and i have very healthy babies and vegan kids! i do take prenatal vitamins and iron supplements but eating a varied, healthy diet will turn the babies out ok. if she is very health-food-y perhaps she could add oils----- flax oil in cold foods like salads and smoothies and olive oils in hot foods. that is what our family seems to require the most supplements in since most of our foods are low in fat. we eat alot of walnuts and avacados too. good luck! heather Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Mobile.
