Does anyone know anything about Vegan Crayons? As you may know we designed a tee shirt for kids to color themselves and feel good about veggie choices but my friend is afraid that the crayons may be promoting animal use. You can see these shirts at veggiescouts.org if you want. Any ideas? Of course I use paints as well but now I'm feeling creeped out. Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Mobile. Guest guest
stearic acid can be from animal or plant fats. The reason for most to go vegan is health or animal rights. Although purity is great, the bottom line is protecting the gratest amount of animals. being so legalistic can turn others away from the cause. This in turn will hurt more animals in the long run. Besides there is a good chance it is from a plant source anyway. robin koloms <rkoloms Thursday, March 20, 2008 3:02:22 PM Re: vegan crayons?
