Guest guest
I agree, Renee, that kids need fats in their diets. But the idea is for healthy fats, not necessarily fat from dairy or soy formulas. Nuts, seeds, olives, and avocados are all examples of healthy fats. Our pediatrician sold my husband years ago on using 2% dairy milk for our boys " for the fats for brain function " . Now I know better, and it is a problem weaning my boys (who are now 8 & 9) off a substance I know is NOT ideal for them! Our toddler daughter has never had dairy, and as far as I'm concerned, she doesn't need it. We've switched pediatricians. I don't need to hear all the mainstream nonsense the lesser informed parents eat up without question. Marilyn **************Create a Home Theater Like the Pros. Watch the video on AOL Home.
