Guest guest
Well, I tried the sneaking and mixing milk and soy milk, and my kids noticed right away. I think I'm going to try marketing next, and use a special cup, with a straw, and see how that works. Thanks for the suggestions! And, I'll keep trying! ~ Cindy
Guest guest
Cindy It is hard when they are use to one type of drink. I had to start with the Silk Soy Light Chocolate.. then my daughters loved Vanilla, and so I grabbed up teh Very Vanilla.. OH YEAH my older girls love it. BUT try to get in some plain in their ceral no way (they are 11 n 12). My boys are 14 and 8, much harder to please. Stil because y 8 year old seems to want to be so much like me he just sucks it up (the plain soy n his pride) and drinks it so he doesnt hurt my feelings I do think if it isnt in the house, it is easier for them to go for something else. I had snack issues. I wanted them for me, but told the kids they couldnt have it. So they would sneak them. I just started buying ONLY vegies and fruit. Of course they stopped sneaking and it just let alot of arguements go away. It is really hard, do not expect it over night. I do think they special cups straws may help but maybe you could start with the tofu cutie ice cream sandwich bars. Then say see they arent so bad are they? You could even try to make a 'shake' with the soy milk et. It takes time, just be proud of yourself for evening doing it for them. To many people throw garbage in their kids all day!!
