Guest guest
I have used Leanne's book Saving Dinner the Vegetarian Way, rather than her weekly menu mailers. I found that using the book gave me more versatility to use the menus vegan than getting a mailer that I would pay for weekly when it doesn't give me time to prepare and work around her use of eggs. I believe that all vegans can work around the dairy usage but some of her menus that contain eggs are really hard to work around. I have used the book for 2 years and found that my picky kids didn't like some of the meals but I loved more than they did. Once you purchase the book you can go on-line and print off the grocery shopping list for that week. Just that alone is worth it. It is all organized for the weeks worth of dinners. I go through and mark off what I have already at home and usually add things for the dinners that I either skip over or subsitute for dairy free, egg free things. If your family is just Vegetarian it is a great book that really will save you loads of time. I know that I am biased but many of her meals involve too much cheese! But enjoy! I am working on a four week plan that focuses on quick, easy vegan meals for parents that work and don't have loads of prep time. I just haven't found anything out there like that. I always welcome fast vegan meal ideas! You rock. That's why Blockbuster's offering you one month of Blockbuster Total Access, No Cost.
