Guest guest
My aunt made me green beans one time, after cooking them with sausage all day - a country thing to do. When I told her I wasn't going to eat them, she just pulled the sausage out and said, now there isn't any meat in it, and besides sausage isn't meat. I couldn't believe she was telling me sausage was not meat - to her it was pork, which is not meat so what's the big deal. I told her I don't anything that had a mother. She didn't understand, so I gave up and always bring my own food to her house when we go there. ~Susan On Apr 14, 2008, at 2:09 PM, lilbludaisy wrote: > I will never understand people who think that just because they > didn't give you the meat, only the broth, that you didn't eat it. Guest guest
hmm...I never thought of it that way. I did have a good conversation with my MIL briefly about it again the other day. She seems more excepting now with the baby being veg, I think. I just have check in with her to make sure she just uses veg broth because I still think that will take some time. But at least we talked about it. Maybe what I can do is offer to bring stuff to help her out. Thanks for the ideas!
