Guest guest
Hello Everyone, I'm new to the group, but have really enjoyed reading all the posts. My husband and I have been vegetarian for about 10 years and have been strict vegetarians (no dairy or eggs) for about 6 years. We don't call ourselves vegan yet because we occasionally will eat birthday cake or something at a party when we know it probably has eggs in it. We are also new parents to an 11 month old. I was wondering if I could ask the other veg parents if they have any ideas for finger foods for him. He tends to be a little picky. So far, he will eat just about any kind grains, bananas, apples, pasta, and peas. I've tried many other fruits and veggies but usually have to hide them in muffins or pancakes to get him to eat them. I feel like I'm giving him the same foods everyday. I would love some ideas to give him some variety. He is independent and gave up breast feeding and baby food at 8 months. He is taking a vitamin supplement, but I would really like to get him eating a variety of foods to ensure he's getting all he needs. Thank you in advance for your help. -Dawn ______________________________\ ____ Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Mobile.
