recipe request - chicken noodle soup (x-post)

sorry for the cross-post. but i seem to have caught a nasty case of the

bubonic plague (or quite possibly the flu) and am looking for a good

" chicken " noodle soup recipe to help speed it out of my system.

honey with cayenne is the best to soothe a cough and sore throat. miso soup

with lots of garlic will help beat off the bad germs. peppermint is a great

decongestant, so drink lots of peppermint tea. when i have a really bad bug, i

take a decongestant (like sudafed, but the real kind that you have to sign for)

in the morning and a heavy duty antihisimine (like benadryl) at night to help

stave off a sinus infection.

Just remember if you are still breastfeeding that peppermint can have

a negative affect on milk supply. So avoid peppermint if you are

still BFing.

officially no longer breastfeeding - Kid A is nearly six now and we sadly

couldn't make it through the first year. thanks for your concern though!

i'll pass the info along to my pregnant friends
