diseases like chicken pox and other children

i wanted to add to the vaccination conversation that there are many groups of

people who can die if exposed to diseases like chicken pox, that we normally

vaccinate for.

 

the elderly and immunosuppressed are at high risk when exposed to children who

are not vaccinated. if children are carrying a virus like chicken pox and they

come into contact with a child that has had (for example) a liver transplant and

is on immunosuppressants, that child can be seriously ill from the exposure.

kids on immunosuppressants don't wear signs so caution is the only way to

protect them!

 

you never know who you come into contact with and if your child has been

exposed to something so please, if you do not vaccinate -- use caution when

doing things like chicken pox parties and let other people know about possible

exposure!!!!!
