Guest guest
I wanted to thank whomever it was that suggested Ft. Desoto Beach. We went the day before Mother's day and it was fantastic, and not crowded or anything. We had a great time. I also don't know if anyone suggested the Heritage Village, but we went there waiting to pick up my mom from work (she doesn't work far from there) and that was also lovely. We're still here, in Florida for another week yet, and we are having a fantastic time. I'm really enjoying the time with my mom and grandma, and my son is enjoying the beaches and the Pinellas Trail (as I knew he would - he's had a great time at everything we've been too - wall springs and everywhere). I really do miss it here, and being around my family. Oh, also for the Florida folks, do you know if Publix's greenwise brand processes the soymilk on milk shared equipment? we've had some issues with some milk-allergy related issues, and that's all I can think of. We picked up some chocolate hempmilk from Palm Harbor Natural Foods, and he just loves it - I forget which one we got, but it was the cheaper of the 2 they had (I think) so we may end up switching to this. Just curious, because we're out of our 'element' so to speak down here for what's ok and what's not, which unfortunately leaves me in a trial and error mode, and I'd rather not have to deal with the unpleasantness if I can help it. Thanks again to all who gave me suggestions for things to do when we were here! They've all been lovely that we've done. I think maybe I could use one of those veggie playdates - if you were still up for it, I think Gayle and now I can't recall who the other lady was that offered. We have one more week, and at least my husband will be here on Saturday, but maybe some time playing with other kids would be good since I'm sure he's in need of some kid time, with other children. Thanks everyone! Missie -- http://mszzzi.zoomshare.com http://www.flickr.com/photos/mszzzi/ ~~~~~(m-.-)m
