Scouts/YMCA

I have never seen anything overtly and exclusively Christian in either

the Scouts or the YMCA. My experience is mostly with Girl Scouts (as a

parent of a Daisy, and leader of a special needs Brownie troop). I had

girls of ALL faiths included in my troop, with NO problem, including a

Buddhist. And in all our associations with various YMCA activities, I

have never seen anything remotely spiritual. Maybe some individual

Scout leaders, or YMCA activity leaders, are more spiritually oriented

than others, so you'll maybe notice that aspect brought out more. But
