Put your mind at ease. Sadly, there is a lot of misinformation about soy in the

popular media that's not backed by science. When you think about it, the scary

stories just don't make sense. If soy causes infertility, how does one explain

the generations of healthy people in China and Japan, where soy is consumed

daily? That said, the experts caution against over-reliance on heavily processed

soy foods such as textured vegetable protein and soy protein isolate, which

don't contain the full nutritional benefits of the bean. Also try other types of

legumes. My young boy loves bean burritos, hummus and dried peas, for example.
