Guest guest
All of these comments and questions regarding vitamins really has me wondering if I am getting enough! (That and the fact that I have bruises up and down my legs!) I am still nursing my 10 month old, so I am taking prenatal vitamins, but is there any way that I could be deficient? I wouldn't think so, but I have noticed I bruise easier and now my baby has a few bruises. I try to cook in cast iron as often as I can. I guess I could always go to the doctor, but it is so hard with two little ones!
Guest guest
It IS hard to get out with little ones. My grown daughter babysat for all her siblings when we saw Dr. Fuhrman. We felt it was worth it to do what we had to do to see him. If you and your baby are bruising, I think you really might want to consider a workup for deficiencies. Besides, if people see bruises on your baby, I shudder to think what might happen if some ignorant person gets it in their head to call the authorities! In this day and age, that is an unfortunate possiblity. Marilyn **************Get the scoop on last night's hottest shows and the live music scene in your area - Check out TourTracker.com! Guest guest
I would really recommend that you see a naturopathic doctor. Tell them that you are wondering about vitamin/mineral deficiencies and they can order a blood test. They have a different way of analyzing these tests and are better trained in nutrition and supplements. Here is the national website to help you find one: http://naturopathic.org/ Hopefully when you call, you can talk to the doctor before you visit. Find out how veg friendly they are. You can give a little interview over the phone. Another good thing about naturopaths (besides the fact that they are mostly drugless practitioners) is that many will answer e-mail and you can actually develop a friendly relationship (hopefully). Good luck! Tracy On Jul 9, 2008, at 2:37 PM, S & T wrote: > All of these comments and questions regarding vitamins really has > me wondering if I am getting enough!
