Guest guest
I just checked on the paperwork I got back from the labwork Dr. Fuhrman did on me a few weeks ago. I wanted to check my iron level, and see what it said a normal level was. I THINK that hemoglobin is the number I want. If it is, it says a normal range is 12-16. Normal hematocrit levels are 37-47. If these numbers are the same for children and adults, then if hemoglobin is the relevant number, the mom whose son has a level of 14 would be exactly where he should be. Obviously, if it's hematocrit, his levels are VERY poor. Dr. F said my level was very low, and put me on an iron supplement. My hemoglobin level was 10.9. Is hemoglobin the relevant number? Are adult levels different than child levels? Anyone know? Marilyn **************Get fantasy football with free live scoring. Sign up for FanHouse Fantasy Football today.
