Guest guest
My new year's resolution this year was to, as a family, become environmentally caring consumers. I no longer by anything without checking to make sure they are not tested on animals and they do not contain animal by-products. I am also currently trying to switch to purchasing only items made from recycled or biodegradable materials. Well, I went school supply shopping this past weekend. I did not have much success. The only store that even sold any of these products at all was Target. I purchased a school bag made from recycled plastic bottles, biodegradable pens(which my dog got to and subsequently ate!), pencils made from recycled denim and newspapers, and a pencil case made of recycled capri sun packages. I was unsure of purchasing the last item because we do not use disposabledrink containers, but I thought it was a better choice to the plastic ones. Does anyone have any suggestions for good online stores for school supplies?
