Guest guest
The site is www.fluoridedebate.com (no " the " in the url), and yes, it is " scary stuff " ! Two examples: After Oscar Ewing, Chief Counsel of the Aluminum Company of America (ALCOA) became head of the United States Public Health Service (USPHS) in 1947, he offered the American Dental Association strong inducements to back fluoridation. To this day the ADA is paid well for endorsements of fluoride products. According to Section 20 of the American Dental Association Code of Ethics, " Dentists' non-participation (in fluoridation promotion) is overt neglect of professional responsibility. " In recent years, several dentists who have testified on the anti-fluoridation side have been reprimanded by their state dental officers. If anyone knows of a similar, well-researched site regarding inoculation advice for children, please share. While speaking with my pediatrician about inoculations, he was quick to pull out pamphlets and videos from government agencies like the CDC which extol the virtues of inoculations but none of the risks. The CDC is part of the Dept. of Health and Human Services, which is one of the most politicized departments in our government. A well-researched and independent (not necessarily skeptical) perspective on inoculation safety and effectiveness would be welcomed. , " jennigarverick " <jennigarverick wrote: > > I've been doing some research on flouride, both as a supplement (as was > recommended by our dentist and pediatrician) and in our water. Guest guest
I did a lot of research when our babe was first born. I don't have it at my fingertips right now since I'm at work, but just wanted to mention a few things. The CDC's Pink Book is a good resource, much more useful than the information targeted to parents. At times there is a big gap in the information presented between the two. http://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/pubs/pinkbook/default.htm It's a good reference to site when talking to medical professionals too because they can't use the argument that the source is not credible, which I find they do with almost every other resource, especially anything you can read online. :-) For us, the vaccine ingredient lists were a big factor in our decision, also from the CDC themselves: http://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/pubs/pinkbook/downloads/appendices/B/excipient-table\ -1.pdf http://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/pubs/pinkbook/downloads/appendices/B/excipient-table\ -2.pdf Almost every vaccine available contains animal ingredients, and not only gelatin but some more alarming things like calf skin, mouse brain, monkey kidney tissue, etc. This site is definitely not unbiased, but does have a lot of good info. http://insidevaccines.com/wordpress/?page_id=13#more-13 Feel free to email me off list about this topic.
