This is the link to a book about a dog named Elwood. Elwood, for those who

don't know him, was the 2007 winner of the Ugliest Dog contest, featured on

Animal Planet. His owner lives here in NJ, and she has written an adorable book

about his life!

 

The message of the book is that " you don't have to be beautiful to be

lovable " . It also has a strong message about being kind to animals (Elwood was

rescued from being euthanized). I thought you guys might be interested in

checking out his book and website. I have ordered the book for my kids for

Christmas.
