Guest guest
We've been invited to a potluck Wedding reception...I want to bring something a little more 'fancy' than usual, but still, has to be something that will feed our vegan family (3 boys, ages 5, 3 1/2 and 2), as probably most of the other dishes will be meat. Any ideas? ~ Cindy
Guest guest
Puff pastry is wonderful. It seems more fancy, but is super easy to work with. You can do just about any filling you like, but here are some links to recipes. I think one calls for egg wash but you can use soy milk, also one calls for parmesan cheese but you can use a vegan substitute. http://www.veganvillage.co.uk/recipes/wellie.htm http://www.veganfamily.co.uk/puff.htm http://www.vegalicious.org/2007/05/25/vegan-asparagus-tart/ http://www.vegfamily.com/vegan-recipes/entrees/vegan-spanakopita.htm http://www.nadineabensur.com/vegetarianrecipes/mushroomwellington.html http://www.goth.net/pipermail/goth.net-domesticated/2004-May/000243.html vegetab\ le triangles http://www.gorgeousvegan.co.uk/yule Spiced mushroom and kidney (bean) en-croute or try these if not serving too many people. http://theitaliandish.blogspot.com/2008/03/eggplant-rollatini.html Laura Ballinger Morales Cindy K. <cindyk449 Monday, August 11, 2008 10:14:02 AM Potluck Wedding Reception We've been invited to a potluck Wedding reception...
