Guest guest
Hi all, I am the mother of two beautiful children (2 yrs and 1 month) but both have a rare and possibly life-threatening metabollic disease called citrullinemia. They have the amino-acid citrulline elevated in their bodies which indicates they may not make enough of one enzyme to eliminate ammonia from the body following the breakdown of protein. So, we are becoming a mostly vegetarian family who on occasion will consume a meat like lamb but we are quitting that and dairy/cheeses. I am also blessed that I am raising a " Spirited " toddler who's picky and with a newborn my time is mostly dedicated to nursing. Any suggestions from you seasoned moms/dads is SO appreciated! It's nice to meet you all, and thanks for allowing me to join your group. Amanda
