Have been as such for a lil over a month and I just love it. I am in the best shape in my life ever. And it's done wonderings in my dieting. I've made the best choice in life by becoming as such. I am slowly working my husband and our children on over to being Vegan as well. Look fwd to any and all discussions and recipes, etc. G'night. Guest guest Posted August 29, 2008 Report Share Posted August 29, 2008 Hi Leo, I am fairly new also. I went vegan cold turkey on March 19 to fight cancer and to also be healthy and lose weight. I have lost 44 pounds since March 19! The weight is literally falling off of me. But I am eating whole plant strict vegan. Absolutely no empty calories or sugar. Anyway, welcome. This is a wonderful way to live! I feel great about myself, physically and mentally. And just think, there are animals alive today because we didn't eat them! I am so relieved and feel like somebody woke me up. And the food tastes better and is more fun. And there is no such thing as stomach problems.
