YMCA Indian Guides leather vests - any alternatives?

Hi folks- long time member, first time poster...

 

Need advice on getting an authentic looking alternative to the leather

vests the YMCA Indian guides program makes you get. I just feel

uncomfortable being vegan and teaching our son about loving animals,

then making him wear the skin of one. Anyone know a source for getting

a synthetic Indian Guide vest?
