Guest guest
I was just wondering if I am the only person that doesn't want to be repeatedly asked to be someone's Grouply " friend " ? I do not know these people. I was under the impression that my email address was not to be taken from this group list and used in bulk spam...grouply or otherwise. Guest guest
It's not just you. I don't want to be asked, either, but have found more than one email asking. It's annoying, but I just delete them.
Guest guest
i've noticed that it's not exclusive to any one group or even any one " type " of group per se. i'm a member of quite a few on topics ranging from goth subculture, paganism, vegetarianism, et. al. and i've gotten grouply messages on more than one board. it's just another form of spam. obnoxious, yes, but as long as there's one person who falls for it and joins up, there's not too terribly much that can be done. i've noticed that less of the messages hit my inbox since i've switched mails, but i'm not sure if that's due to google's security or the fact that i believe my old email address was sold out to a spammer list somewhere... -- xoxo, ^8^ Reni ^8^ when I'm with someone, I just want space to breathe; and when I'm alone, I just want someone to breathe into.
