upcoming Oprah show

I just found out that Oprah's show on Tues. Oct. 14th will be about " where our

food comes from " .  The clip I saw showed pigs and chickens in factory farms,

questions about what cagefree/free range eggs really mean and I saw the

president of the Humane Society Wayne Pacelle speaking from the audience. 

 

Maybe Oprah's vegan cleanse earlier this year and her new found awareness of

what she is 'really eating' contributed to this.   Regardless, here's hoping her

HUGE following will be enlightened and impacted in a positive way!

Speaking of seeing the farm animals, has anybody else that lives in

CA seen the ads for Prop 2 on TV? I am surprised that they show some

mild clips of the animals being " tortured " . I wonder if it has had

any impact on people? probably not...
