Guest guest
Denise, I must say that I pick my battles too, as some of the moms have said. It is so much easier to make sure they eat, as opposed to where they eat. TRUST ME - he will come to the table soon enough, and you will be looking at him wondering how he sat at 'his table' and cry missing it. When they are so little they struggle to gain some independence and that is a good (and safe!) way for them to just that. I have ten kiddos, my youngest 6 are still living at home - and each of them had little crazy things they would do. As one of the moms had said, I had the 'puppy' who wanted to eat out of a bowl on the floor (YES I remind her still today and she is going to be 21! *wink wink*). I still go online to chat with parents of younger children, because I have an 8 year gap between my youngest and you forget so quickly the things they do (tantrums-*sigh*). One place that has quick to read info is babycenter.com It is geared for younger kids (under 10 yo). They send emails every week with little updates on things kids do. Just nice to know that it is 'normal' for them to be doing some of the things they do some times. Enjoy him as much as you can!!
