Guest guest
We always had a " kids " table and an " big " table right next to each other, so that we had dinner together and still talked. I always felt that the whole " big " chairs was intimidating to small people. They eventually wanted top sit at the bigger table. As for keeping them at the table, when we are all engaged in conversation, everyone stays at the table. When it is a " rush " meal or noone is really talking we eat and go. I really didn't like that whole wait for everyone to finish, but we do wait for everyone to start. It's probably my own issues, though! Sometimes kids seem to just want to feel to be in control of themselves. Colleen
