Hi. Thanks for letting me join. My name is Natalie. I'm not

vegetarian or vegan, but I have a 4 y/o with PKU. This means no

meat, eggs, dairy, nuts, legumes, most soy/flour products, or

aspartame in her diet. That said, she hates her veggies, and I find

it increasingly difficult to get her to try anything, new or old. I

joined a few groups in the hopes of finding some recipes that are kid-

and family-friendly and can keep the same old veggies interesting

and fresh.

 

I did join " web only " , so I can search the recipes, ideas, and tips

at my own pace w/out my inbox getting out of control. This isn't to

say I am anti-social, but I prefer to join this way if the group

allows. I look forward to finding new and interesting ideas for my

little one, which should also translate into a little healthier

eating for the rest of us. Thanks, again.

P.S. I tried searching the messages for " Thanksgiving " , but there

are a lot of results. Can anyone point to a specific post regarding

favorite dishes served? I can often tweak vegetarian dishes to make

them lower in protein, so I'm not concerned if they contain some of

our " NO " foods. Thanks.
