Guest guest
Jacqueline, I was away for the Thanksgiving holiday and not checking the group posts, so I was late in posting feedback on the Orlando Sentinel web site. I did this, but not sure anybody will see, so I'm copying it here to make sure you see it. I liked your op ed piece very much. Keep it up! -- Wonderful article, Jacqueline! Thank you for sharing your experiences and insights! I'm inspired to be more mindful of the consequences of my actions. Your story reminds me that, as a parent, my actions are silently teaching lessons to my children. Everything we do reflects our values. And best of all, compassion isn't something we must ration for fear of running out. Just the opposite: like our heart, our compassion grows stronger the more we use it. So, when we are kind to fish and turkeys, we're really flexing our heart muscles! That's not only good for the animals, that's good for us and everybody that comes into our lives. - Alan , " Jacqueline Bodnar " <jb wrote: > > Hi everyone, > > I wanted to post that piece of mine published in the Orlando Sentinel > today (about compassion and Thanksgiving): > http://www.orlandosentinel.com/news/opinion/letters/orl- myword23bodnar08nov23,0,2662062.story > > If you see a lot of negative feedback at the bottom (people can reply to > the articles) please take a moment and write something.
