Vegetarian teens book?

Hi all,

I recently heard a good review of a book for vegetarian teens, about how

to cook for themselves and their families, I think it was - and it had a

pic on the front of a teen peering into a fridge. Anyone know what book

this is - or have a good book suggestion for teens new to vegetarianism?

Our teen niece just decided to become a vegetarian, and is not getting

support in her home (second time in her life, she went through this when

she was about 6-years-old, too, and went back to meat eating back then

when she didn't get support in her house). I talked to my sister (her

mother) about it, and my sister is convinced that it's too hard to be

healthy on a vegetarian diet - as if she's not talking to a vegetarian

(me), and not talking to her own sister who is raising a very healthy

vegetarian family, and as if I've not done any research on this let

alone 20+ years of research as our family and needs have changed, and as

if she knows anything of what she's talking about or that her diet is at

all healthy just because it includes hoofstock and birds. Oi.

Okay, rant over. (knew you guy's understand!) :-) Any good teen book

suggestions? :-) I checked the vrg site and amazon, and didn't find

the fridge picture on a cover . . . but am not married to that one book,

either.

Thanks much, in advance!

Lorraine

It's a vegan website that is terrific! If you want

to use eggs or dairy, just sub them in as you see fit!
