Nutritional yeast question

Hi all -

I am wondering if anybody might know about nutritional yeast - we

absolutely love it and I use it quite often. However, I am currently

making some short-term dietary changes (no sugar, no yeast, no alcohol -

trying to get rid of a chronic yeast infection) and I have no idea if

nutritional yeast is considered a " yeast " or not. Anybody know?

It is not an active/live yeast, but it is a yeast.

As an inactive yeast, natural health practitioners generally consider it

safe for people who are having problems with overproduction of yeast, but as

in everything, moderation is key.
