We are part of a Waldorf school community and everyone respects our life choices. We share in the cooking of meals, co-op our childcare and we have vegans, raw foodists, gluten-free living. All different shapes, sizes and styles of people. it is great. If you do make it out here look me up. And the music scene is great too. Guest guest Posted April 14, 2009 Report Share Posted April 14, 2009 I was going to say, but got off on a tangent, that it may seem like CA's a mess right now, but if you're planning on buying a house when you move, you couldn't have picked a better time, cost-wise. Houses are cheaper than they've been in 7 or 8 years at least, dependent on the area. We bought our house 7 years ago and still have appreciation, but it's NOWHERE near the 'double in value' we had 3 or so years ago.
