Guest guest
Hi, We cook for our two dogs all the time. For dinner they usually have brown or red lentils (sometimes beans of some description) with rice or pasta and a range of vegetables - whatever is going, all cooked together as a big stew. It is flavoured with some mixed herbs and stock cubes/powder of the fake beef or chicken kind. Sometimes add gravy for extra taste. We make up a big batch every couple of days. The dog I have had the longest, since he was 5, and he is now 14, has been on this diet for the last 8.5 years and is doing great. The other we have only had for less than two years, but she adjusted to her new diet quickly. They have nutritionally balanced vegan dog biscuits for breakfast (made in Australia where we reside) plus left overs such as bread, cereal, and they enjoy bananas. They also love certain vegetables raw such as cabbage and sweet potato. Hope this helps, Karen
