(PH) Please stop these atrocities

Dear Sir,

as animal advocates we would like first of all to thank the

Philippine Government for working with Network for Animals to stop the

illegal trade in dog meat in the Philippines. This issue is not only a

torture for animals but also dangerous for the public health in your

country.

As the Philippine Ambassador, we are requesting you to communicate

to your government our profound wish that House Bill #2991

<http://www.networkforanimals.org/bill2991.htm> is speedily enacted into

law and do whatever is in your power to stop this atrocity which shames

your country's reputation.

We wish you to know that we are two of many thousands of people who

feel very strongly about this in Greece and all over the world, since

such actions against animals are regarded as unacceptable.
