Dog slaughter ritual in Assam

Dear friends,

 

I came across a shocking news yesterday when a friend of mine

forwarded me a few pictures of a barbaric ritual that he managed to

capture on camera.

 

Nagini Puja ( worship of the female cobra ), was practiced by the

Karbi tribals of Assam barely 35kms from the city of Guwahati.

Three dogs were sacrificed as part of their cult ritual to impress

their Goddess. Two were beaten to death, the third was killed by

slitting the throat with a blunt knife.

I have filed a complaint with the police authorities of Assam.
