>BEFORE THE ANTI-DOG FRENZY GAINS GROUND !!

 

 

This article makes very clear, despite

the misleading headline and first sentence, that

the dog was not a street dog; rather, the dog

had a collar and was either owned or escaped or

dumped.

 

Accordingly, what people need to be

doing is recommending to the Hindustan Times that

headlines and lead sentences be corrected to

match the facts as reported.

 

What the circumstances call for, as

should be emphasized, is better control of pet

dogs. Street dogs had nothing to do with the

incident.
