Guest guest
I always feel, wrong actions are copied faster by kids and teenagers. you see for most people " Normal is boring " . You try and show some real good message on television it is unlikely that many people would follow but show some crap on tv and numerous kids and youngsters would try and imitate it. So, no matter how creative a particular ad is if it sends across a relatively wrong message to the audience it should not be aired. The after effects of airing such a commercial can be dangerous. And I strongly feel that kids are easily influenced by ads and that is why all the commercials target kids and young crowd. You must have seen the pathetic condition of zoo animals, they bear immense torture everyday with visitors yelling and throwing stones at them. Many people give them even Tobacco and liquor. Look at the already miserable condition of captive creatures and I bet you would realise it at once that if a celeb like Kajol is shown feeding a zoo animal, innocent kids would definately follow and make their already bad condition worse. And moreover many people think they are helping a captive creature by feeding it but ironically they are adding to its misery.. Recently I visited Nandankanan zoo (Orrissa), it is an open zoo, I saw people throwing big stones at the white tiger, the poor creature was hiding himself from visitors. Many kids were shouting on top of their voice to gain the attention of Oran-gutan and were throwing chips and toffees for him. With no one to check their actions people behave like beasts and show all sort of tricks in front of zoo animals. Being captive in a zoo is a torture on top of it ill- treatment by visitors makes their life living hell. Feeding zoo creatures is not allowed and showing it on air definately sends across a wrong message to the public.
