Making broths thicker

Recommended Posts

1. Very fine bulgar or couscous - add 1/4 cup grain to 2 quarts liquid, 15 to 20

mins before cooking time is completed.

2. Oatmeal - use the old fashioned or instant. Either process in food processor

before using or expect some texture. Time it according to cooking directions.

3. Instant mash potatoes

4. Cooked rice mixed with a little broth, liquify in blender or processor, add

to broth. Bring to boil and let simmer.
