Guest guest
Marybeth My favorite smoothie is the one I just now had. I love my vegatables, but not in the morning. I want fruit. My diet is probably about 70% raw. And I am happy with that so far.My smothie is a cup of organic milk, one egg, tlbs of walnuts, tlbs of flax seed, tlbs of molasses, and the fruit this morning was one beautiful peach and one banana.I am still working on giving up the milk.( but it is organic) Earthfeather Marybeth <mbschiros wrote: HI I have really been enjoying this group, even though I am only about 70% raw (pretty good because my goal was to be 50%). But I wanted to share my favorite raw thing...my morning smoothie. Fill a bender with kale, collards, and sometimes beet greens, half full, add another third of fruit(a banana or two, an apple and a hunk of pinapple) 2 cups water and blend. I have a really big salad for lunch, mainly nuts and fruit at night. I started all this about May this year and have lost 20 pounds..and still eat like horse. And the fun part is at work people are always waiting to see what I pull out of my lunch pack...my salad have become very creative. thanks everybody for helping me learn so much:)
Guest guest
Hi, Marybeth. Isn't it great to not go hungry and still lose? I've lost almost 60 pounds and all but five of those have been on raw food!
