Ingredient FAQ for USA and Canadian Subway restaurants:

http://www.subway.com/subwayroot/menunutrition/nutrition/nutritionFAQs.aspx

It appears to me that if you want a vegan meal at Subway, IN CANADA, you

can get:

- Veggie Delite

- on Italian bread

- with sweet onion sauce

The obvious condiments (oil, vinegar, mustard, etc.) being vegan. The

other sauces and breads presumably not. The " VeggieMax " veggie patties

contains egg.

This may be different in USA and other countries.

Of course, anything there may have come in contact with animal products.

And, if you or someone eating with you has an allergy, please do not

take my word for it ... but check the website AND confirm in the

restaurant, of course.

Thanks!

I know we've asked before about the veggie patties (in the US) maybe

last year, (as we do have a food allergy to deal with), they brought

us the box so we could read it, because they weren't sure if anything

came from milk so they had us look at it. It was surprising that they

did, but we were happy that they did. They didn't seem to mind/didn't

give us any grief over it, as we only asked and then they just brought

it to us to read when we asked if they had any milk/cheese in the

patties.
