Dear All,

Please find exclusive pictures of a Dog market in Nagaland, in

Northeastern India where Dog meat is a delicacy.

These dogs are mostly supplied from the neighvouring northeastern

states for the residents of Nagaland.

The pictures which you see are from a market in Dimapur town of

Nagaland.

The state government despite several petitions from animal welfare/

rights organisations in and individuals in India has not taken any

steps to stop this age old practice of Dog eating in the most

barbaric way.

Infact every body in Nagaland approves of Dog meat consumption hence

it is difficult to find an end in near future atleast unless the

Animal Welfare Board of India or the Central Government takes strict

measures to control this menace.

Why was I under the impression that all animals' lives are rescpected in India?

This is just too heartbreaking. Please keep up the pressure on those in Govt.

that make changes on behalf of the animals.
