The Three sambhars which were rescued with active involvement of CAPE-india,on sunday 17th and were kept in Doraha Forest Range Office,have improved .So, Chief Coordinator,Dr.Sandeep K.Jain,talked to Chief Wildlife Warden Punjab and On his orders wildlfe officials took the specialist Veterinarians from GAD Veterinary Sciences visited Doraha to examine the beasts .Mr.Jarnail singh Conservator of Forests Jalandhar directed the Foerest officials to take the specialist in official vehicle of Deptt. Dr.Vipul Jain along with one vet. of surgery Deptt. examined the animals.The male brought on Saturday ,which was kept at Forest Nursery started to stand and walk after treatment.Ravi Gill and Ricky from Khanna PFA visited frequently to look after and nurse the Animals.The sambhar at Forest Nursery Doraha improved and started walking after treatment.He and a female which had minor injuries were shifted to Deer Park Neelon. The male rescued from Bilga Village had fracture/dislocation of left leg near tibia and needed splinting/nailing,so it was transported to PAU for the x-ray and operation.
