Guest guest Posted May 5, 2007 Report Share Posted May 5, 2007 Five elephants were found dead on the dry Teesta river bed in Alipurduar in North Bengal. Officials suspect the animals- two calves, one sub-adult female and an adult male were struck by lightning, reports 'The Telegraph' along with a picture.
