Guest guest
Animals in sorry state-New Straits Times 24 Jan 2007 A.G. Kuala Lumpur MY family and I recently visited Zoo Negara. To my dismay, the animals seemed poorly fed and ridden with diseases. Some of the baboons needed medical attention, the turkeys had skin diseases and the monkeys had massive hair loss. All these conditions could have been avoided if they were given proper care and diet. The other issue is the zoo's hygiene. From the cages to the open areas, visitors and animals have to endure a filthy environment. The condition is a disgrace considering that this is Visit Malaysia Year.
