Guest guest
I looked up dong qwai in Linda Rector-Page's Healthy Healing, my herb/supplement bible (and her remedies have never steered me wrong- does anyone else have this wonderful book?). She makes no mention of dong qwai, that I could find, but over and over again, 2 cups of burdock tea each day comes up as a good remedy for all types of menstrual issues. Also, much mention of Vit C, and Vit E, and evening primrose oil. I really can't recommend this book enough. Linda is somewhat local to the Sacramento area, but has been practicing for many decades and owns her own herbal supplement company (Crystal Star). She is so well respected in the 'alternative therapy' arena that she was asked by UCLA to teach courses. I have cured many an ailment with her remedies-which include nutritional, bodywork, supplement, superfood therapies, and the book has sections on children, babies/birthing/etc.She's also very veg- friendly (I always laugh because one of the therapies mentioned for almost any ailment is 'a low fat vegetarian diet low in dairy'). I'm on my 2nd edition, having used this book for close to 20 years- but the new editions have a TON more info than even mine does. That's my rant for today- I'll stop here! jenni , " iluvk5 " <skerns wrote: > > Thanks for the responses. I picked up some Dong Qwai at Whole Foods > tonight.
