Wheatgrass

Hello -

When I first went raw (Jan/Feb part-time, full-time in May), I did a

lot of juicing and learned to grow my own wheatgrass. I actually

liked the taste of the fresh wheatgrass. I would drink 8oz first

thing in the morning on an empty stomach, and the only thing that

kept me from drinking more was that it took so long to grow and

sources where I live (in Idaho) are very limited for WG.

However, in the past 2 weeks or so, wheatgrass has NOT been agreeing

with me, giving me indigestion and it gets worse each time I drink

the wheatgrass, and almost made me vomit the last time. Any ideas

what may be causing this?

I have an IRON stomach. Nothing bothers my stomach. I can take

vitamins on an empty stomach and not get sick. I can eat nuts first

thing in the morning on an empty stomach and not get sick. My

companion doesn't tolerate nuts at all, let alone on an empty

stomach. Before I was raw, I would eat candy or cake or cookies for

breakfast, and never get sick. After I started getting sick from the

WG, I tried drinking it after eating something, or in the middle of

the day, and still it made me sick. And I find it interesting that

the sick feeling got worse and worse each time. Almost like some

allergies. Now the very thought of drinking WG turns my stomach. So

I need to stop typing out this e-mail about it :>)

Thanks!

Melanie
