This may not be promoted more.Influx of tourists to wildlife habitat will

disturb the tranquility and peaceful atmosphere in Jungles hampering the

privacy and normal life of beasts.

The movement should be restricted entry or no vehicles to the wildlife

habitat.credentials of persins entering must be scrutinised before granting

permits.

Wildlife and tourism

We at the WFFT have started a new campaign trying to get rid of the use of

wildlife in tourism in Thailand. We are pretty sure that in other Asian

countries similar activities take place and are looking for pictures like the

ones we have on our webpage

www.wfft.org/tourismcampaign2007.htm

If anyone has pictures, complaints or stories on the use of wild animals in

tourism, please forward them to edwin.wiek so we can add more arguments

and details to our page and make more people aware.

Hi John,

Yes that would be good, important is the pictures of people with the animals

(gibbons, orangs, tigers and so on) as we are trying to tell people not only

that most animals were poached from the wild, but also that zoonotic

diseases are spread easily by getting direct contact with these animals.

I have plenty of such pictures taken in China.

Do you include circuses?

Have you seen this one:
