2006, the Year of the Dog, witnessed several massive culls of dogs throughout

China. Despite reassurances from President Hu Jintao that all indiscriminate

killings of dogs were to be stopped following round-ups in Beijing, yet another

municipality in China has announced plans to slaughter strays.

 

Please ask President Hu Jintao to halt plans for this dog-killing campaign in

Chongqing and instead institute a humane, effective rabies vaccination and

sterilization program.

 

What You Can Do
