Guest guest Posted July 11, 2006 Report Share Posted July 11, 2006 Here is another sauce I love for grilled veggies and also veggie burgers or vegi-dogs... just yummy! Steak Sauce 2 cups ketchup 2 garlic cloves, minced 2/3 cup chopped onion 1/2 cup lemon juice 1/2 cup water 1/2 cup vegetarian Worcestershire sauce 1/2 cup vinegar 1/4 cup soy sauce 1/4 cup packed dark brown sugar 2 Tbs prepared Dijon mustard Combine all of the ingredients in a 3-qt saucepan; bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes. Strain if desired. Cover and refrigerate. Yield: about 3 cups strained, but more if you leave everything in it like I do. ~ PT ~ I went to the hill and I got it. I sat on a knoll and I sought it. And if I would get it I would leave it.
