The forest employees who discovered it informed the beat officer of Rasikbeel, Narayan Joddar. " The gharial was three years old. With its death, the total number of the reptiles at the centre has come down to eight, " said Joddar. Veterinary surgeon from Tufanganj Sukhdev Sarkar was called in for the post-mortem.
