Guest guest
I am still working on building the list files. It would be extremely helpful if you would copy the exact post you are responding to, particularly when you are saying, " Oh, yes! that recipe was fantastic! " . When I see an " oh yes! that recipe was fantastic! " , I find myself having to back-track through (possibly) days or weeks of emails to locate the recipe-- often to find that I have already filed it in the list files (at the volumes this list generates, that is most daunting!) I know that Roger has asked that people cut the postings down to what is *necessary*, but I do think that, for recent arrivals, as well as for people who may not spend every free moment on this list, referencing directly, within the email, what you are talking about, would be most helpful. To do this: If you are working from the website, and you see a post you want to reply to, leave the post intact at the end of your post. If you are working from an individual mail, ditto. If you are working from the list digest, once you click on REPLY, delete all else BESIDES THE EMAIL THAT YOU ARE ANSWERING (i.e., do not delete the specific email that you are answering) In this way, EVERYONE will be able to understand what you are writing about.
