Guest guest
Hi All, I know that a similiar issue has come up before. I checked through the archives, but they lead to more questions. One of our dogs has been diagnosed with Megaesophagus. Which seems to be an enlarged esophagus, resulting in difficulty eating to say the least. We have switched him to the vet recommended can food. It is supposed to be bland and easy to digest. And since starting this special routine where our dog has to sit for 30mins after eating or drinking our other dog is suddenly sick also. Jealous for the additional attention, perhaps. But now she won't eat the other food, and almost for emphasis has begun getting sick herself. We are now giving her the special food to help her also, but as they are both very large dogs, this will add up very quickly. Almost as much as the vet bill (we are still trying to swallow that). Our dogs are approx. 8 yo. Any good ideas on homemade dog food? I remember this coming up when I first joined on, and I made an ignorant comment, immediately wishing to retract it. I understand that dogs have very specific needs and want to take good care of them for their remaining time with us. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks, Janeen ______________________________\ ____ Tonight's top picks. What will you watch tonight?
